Lungshan Temple is located in Manka of Taipei, Taiwan. It was founded in 1738 and dedicated to the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy (Kuan-in). Being a masterpiece of traditional Chinese architecture and a well-established Buddhist temple in Taipei, the Lungshan Temple has become a centre of people’s religious life and a heritage of local culture. In 1985, Lungshan Temple was assigned by the government as a second grade historical site.
